New Year's weekend marked the beginning of the end of living in SD for us. It was kind of weird thinking about how this was the last time (most likely) that we'd be "only" six hours from Deadwood...and it's a long drive the way it is! I'm not sure how I feel about a 12-hour drive...but mom was already saying how she'd like to go again next year for New Year's. We wouldn't mind either - as long as there's snow for skiing!
Not only did Jordan and I get in a bunch of relaxing and time together (which rarely happens with opposite work schedules), we also got to spend Sunday with family and friends. Here's "the kids":
We truly treasure living close to family and friends and want to make the most of our time before the end of June!
